Gerald Matisoff is Professor of Geological Sciences and Chair of the Deparment. He joined the faculty at Case Western Reserve University in 1977. He is currently working on using fallout radionuclides to trace the transport of sediment through watersheds. He is also currently working on mathematical models of biological mixing of sediments, mathematical models of biogeochemistry of recent sediments, and on modeling the effects of tile drainage on chemical loading to agricultural streams.
